“What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.”
Working with the Edmonton Food Bank
Since March 2021, Edmonton South has been distributing hampers to 20 families on behalf of the Edmonton Food Bank. 10 months later, we have distributed 14,113 kg of food valued at $80,000.
In partnership with Cobs Bread.
Every other week, Cobs Bread blesses us with a generous donation of delicious and healthy bread. We add bread to our hampers, supply it to single mothers and also work with Operation Friendship where it is used to make sandwiches for seniors.
