Following God’s Leading

At Edmonton South Seventh-day Adventist Church, our mission is to allow God to lead us as we share the gospel “Across the Aisle, Across the Street, Across the Globe.”

To fulfill our mission, we offer:

As Seventh-day Adventists, we believe that the Biblical Sabbath is Saturday, which has always been the seventh day of the week. We also believe in the soon coming, or second advent, of Jesus Christ. Learn more about what Seventh-day Adventists believe or sign up for Bible studies

Want to know what the Bible has to say about the time we are living in?

You may be surprised to find out that the meaning behind the signs, symbols, and creatures in Revelation can speak directly into your life. These things and more will reveal that there is so much more to learn and experience, and that eternal joy can be ours today.

Come out and join us from Sept. 26 - Oct. 10 as we begin to understand one of the bibles most mysterious books.

See our calendar for the specific dates and times.

Faces of the Bible

The presenter, Dr. Dick Stenbakken, has given programs at the US Senate, the Pentagon, 35 states/provinces, and all over the world. He has worked with thousands of schools, colleges, churches, and community groups. He draws on his extensive educational (four Masters degrees and a Doctorate in education) and experiential background as an Army chaplain, family therapist and pastor to give Biblical and historical accuracy to each presentation.

Professionally prepared, powerfully presented first person narratives can pull you into the stories and realities of the Bible in new and exciting ways: In ways that appeal to first graders, to sophisticated and learned theologians, and to those in between.

Come and watch the Bible stories come alive from Oct 25 - Oct 31!

These meetings will be held at The Heritage Valley Community Centre - Located at 11520 Ellerslie Road SW.

Word from our senior pastor

Ps. John Murley
At Edmonton South, we believe that our relationship with Jesus is the most beautiful thing on earth. We want to take the message of salvation to not only the City of Edmonton, but to all the earth. As we grow in our relationship to God, prompting a life of grace, compassion, sacrifice, creativity, generosity, and hope, we aim to follow His leading - Across the aisle, across the street and across the globe. We invite you to discover more about us in these pages. Feel free to call or send us an email with your thoughts, prayer requests, and questions. And, if you feel so led, we welcome your attendance and participation in our worship service and mission to bless the world.
